Rafting Expedition At Sungai Pahang



  1. JPS Negeri Sembilan make a surprise participating in the Traditional Rafting Expedition At Sungai Pahang recently that has became the yearly event for the State of Pahang.

  2. The Rafting Expedition Along Sungai Pahang has got good response from the local people and also to all others through out Malaysia and it came from various clubs and association, no doubt it will also become an international event in the short time to come.

  3. The raft is a traditional native type made up of bamboos and was covered and decorated at own creativity for the expedition that takes one week from the starting point at Kuala Lipis, passing through Kuala Tembeling, Durian Hijau, Sanggang, Kampung Durian Tawar, Kampung Nyak, Kampung Sengkam, Kampung Serambi and the ending point at Pekan.

  4. At the early stage the JPS Negeri Sembilan Team led by En. Mohamad Sidek was looking for the best men to be in the team and he made it. He got all of those who have participated in the water event.

  5. During the Rafting Expedition the participants had several stop point for them to land for the night stay and it seems that they received a very warm welcome from the villagers, the VIP's and even from the Royal Family of Pahang.

  6. The Sultan of Pahang himself attended the closing ceremony and the prize giving ceremony whereby a large crowd attend to give moral support to their King and all the contestants and they admire this Rafting Expedition very much.

  7. It was a surprise to see the JPS Negeri Sembilan Team had won the 2nd prize under the category that they participated and they manage to be leading all the way.

  9. This blog is meant for those participating in the Rafting Expedition so that the sweet memories of their effort can be shared by others especially from JPS NS.

  10. JPS NS sport and social club would like to congratulate them for winning as runner-up in this event and we hope after this they might even go further.
  11. Who knows maybe more surprise will come from this team.
